Hosted CRM Software
After looking into CRM for small business I’m pretty convinced that web-based CRM products hosted by the vendor as the way to go. And since I love lists, I decided to whip up a short list of reasons.
In case you aren’t sure what CRM hosted software is let me give you a brief overview: CRM hosted software run on the vendor’s server rather than yours, they are accessed from a web interface or a desktop program.
Ok on to the list:
- These applications are more cost effective than customised, in-house solutions, and are easier to setup and keep running.
- Hosted CRM solutions in general offer all the advanced features of an in-house solution.
- Hosted CRM is a flexible solution that permits a small business to take on only the features they require, when they need them. This “pay as you go” model permits a small business to adjust the CRM solution to their needs.
- The perq of anytime, anywhere access to your Customer Relationship Management system from any web browser when necessary. This helps to facilitate the sales & marketing process in terms of accuracy, speed, and effectiveness.
- On-the-road availability supports sales record keeping, lead generation and sales conversion.
- Client information is as safe and secure as anything you can come up with on your own.
- Vendors make sure your data is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
- No fancy application to install & manage all you need is a standards-based web browser.
- No team of techs to employ and manage or to outsource support then question if they are going to answer in a prompt fashion.
That is the short list of reasons I lean towards going with hosted CRM on-line. As always this is just a starting point and as always your own due diligence is needed.
