Connective tissue manipulation and Manual lymph drainage dealing with Sciatica
In Latin means “discomfort” along the back of the leg” Sciatica is referred pain usually caused by trapping the sciatic nerve in the base of the back. The sciatic nerve runs from the lower back down through the buttocks and through the rear of the leg. Sciatica is pain along this nerve and is a fairly common form of back discomfort and is usually caused by stress on the sciatic nerve because of a herniated or bulging disc. The pain from sciatica can be anything from infrequent and annoying to severe and debilitating.
Usually, it effects only one side, the pain moving through the buttock and along the leg and is often associated with a constant pain on one side of the buttocks, pain in the leg and/or buttock that may be worse when seated. Other sensations are a burning or tingling along the leg, weakness, numbness or problems using the leg or foot or a shooting pain that makes it hard to stand up.
While sciatica can be extremely painful and uncomfortable, it is rare that permanent nerve harm (tissue injury) results. Most pain is because of swelling and will reduce within a period of time. Nerve pain is due to a mixture of pressure and inflammation on the nerve root, and dealing with it is focused on allieviating both of these issues. Back pain is extremelly uncomfortable and this amazing technique helps relieve the pain and get people back to their normal existence.
