Raising butterflies has a great appeal to both children and adults. –At this point I am just openly raising my hand skyward–. Generally, the butterfly kits do not include the caterpillars. You will most likely recieve a certificate so you can claim your caterpilliars. You need to be sure you are ready to get caterpillars and take care of them. It will not work if you receive the caterpillars and don’t utilize them until weeks later. Thus you may make arrangements in advance and be certain to have sufficient time prior to placing your order. Many suppliers will be happy to take a specific date from you on which you would like the caterpillars shipped.

The only required provision for the caterpillar is a pot of food. In fact, something else might be dangerous and may hurt your livestock, so be careful.
