Jeffrey Epstein

Jeffrey Epstein is actually a money manager as well as science philanthropist. He is Financial Trust Company’s current and active Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. He was the Trustee of the Institute of International Education, Inc. last 2001. Jeffrey Epstein’s financial investment career began in the firm of Bear Stearns. His major was in physics. 

Aside from his being member of the Trilateral Commission, Mr. Jeffrey Epstein serves the Council on Foreign Relations as well. He was a former Board Member of Rockefeller University as well as being currently affiliated with the New York Academy of Science. 

Mr. Epstein’s philanthropic affiliations include the Jeffrey Epstein Foundation, the Wexner Foundation, The COUQ Foundation  and the Florida Science Foundation. Jeffrey is likewise a member of the internationally respected list of thinkers and achievers known as the Edge Foundation, Inc.

Established in 1988, the Edge Foundation, nonprofit private operating foundation, grew out of an organization known as the Reality Club, a loosely based group includes of many of the most interesting minds worldwide. The declared purpose of Edge Foundation is to promote social and intellectual achievement in society through its discussion inquiry, philosophical, literary and artistic issues and work. 

The requirement of Edge Foundation is to promote inquiry into and discussion of intellectual, philosophical, artistic, and literary issues, as well as to work for the intellectual and social achievement of society. All contributors to Edge support the original copyright at their work while permitting the Edge to electronic use of their work.

Mr. Jeffrey Epstein is actively taking part and serving the Theoretical Biology Initiative at the Institute for Advanced Study, the Santa Fe Institute and the Quantum Gravity Program at the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Mr. Jeffrey Epstein serves as a member of the Mind, Brain & Behavior Advisory Committee at Harvard University.

Currently, Jeffrey Epstein’s passion for generosity is focused on scientific thought and achievement. During the last decade Mr.Epstein has donated over $100 million in grants and funding in support of both individual scientists and academic institutions.   

In January, Jeffrey Epstein will play host to the Mindshift Conference on his privately owned island in the Caribbean.
